Abstract:
The anchor rope intruding into adjacent foundation pit is easily occurred during shield tunneling due to multiple surrounding buildings, small space and busy traffic on the ground. As a result, vertical shaft is excavated between shield tunnel and foundation pit, and then gallery parallel to shield tunnel is also excavated. The whole anchor rope clearing process is as follows: the anchor rope intruding into shield tunnel is firstly exposed; it is then peeled off soil by drill with deformable rigid drivepipe and ball bit; and it is finally pulled out of soil. The method adopted can provide foundation for successful shield tunneling in anchor rope intrusion section and guarantee the safety of the buildings and traffic on the ground.
