Abstract: When compiling bidding and bidding cost of municipal investment testing and monitoring projects in Guangzhou, many problems are encountered, including multiple and incomplete price guidance documents, inconsistent standards, and excessive cost. Accordingly, an indepth investigation and analysis are conducted, and the bidding prices of dozens of municipal tunnel engineering testing and monitoring projects in Guangzhou are selected for statistical analysis. The interval value and downward floating pricing are introduced into the compilation process of the testing and monitoring list to establish a set of simple and feasible testing and monitoring pricing method for municipal tunnel engineering. The case application results show that the pricing method recommended has the advantages of strong engineering practicability and is close to the market price level, which is helpful to guide the standardization compilation of tunnel engineering testing and monitoring list in urban municipal transportation industry, resulting in labor cost saving, standards unifying, reasonable investment controlling, and project budget quality improvement.
