Abstract: A prefabricated platform slab made of ultrahigh performance concrete(UHPC)is proposed to address the problems of complex processes and long construction platform slab periods in a metro station at the phase Ⅱ project of the Guangzhou metro line 14. Then, the block design, joint connection, and construction scheme of the platform slab is studied, followed by an analysis of the stress and deformation, employing numerical simulation calculations to analyze and inspect the outdoor assembly test effect. Finally, the prefabricated UHPC platform slab is compared with the conventional platform slab in terms of technical and economic aspects. The results reveal the following: (1) Although the stress of the UHPC prefabricated platform slab structure is reasonable, the stress and deformation indices are far less than the specification′s limit. (2) Since single prefabricated components are characterized by small size and light weight, they could easily be operated and accurately assembled quickly. (3) While the assembly rate of the platform slab of a single standard station reaches 78%, the structural weight is reduced by approximately 50% compared with the precast concrete platform slab. Thus, the technical scheme is reliable.
