Application of Assembly Construction Technology for Large-Span Prefabricated Stations: a Case Study of Xixing Station on Changchun Metro Line 2, China

Abstract:

 When constructing largespan prefabricated metro stations, the characteristics of precast components, such as their large weight and special shape, often affect their assembling accuracies and rapid positioning. Based on this fact, a case study is conducted on the Xixing station of the Changchun metro line 2, China. First, the prefabricated construction difficulties of the largespan underground station are investigated. Then, the requirements of the improved positioning assembly platform are described, after which the prefabricated construction technology is introduced in detail. Remarkably, this technology comprises the assembly method, assembly sequences, positioning process control, deviation correction control, foundation plane treatment technology, and mortise/groove grouting technology. Hence, the following conclusions are drawn from investigations: (1) The improved hydraulic 3D positioning assembly platform improves the assembly accuracy of an assembly

platform′s components. (2) Efficient, rapid, and accurate assembly is achieved using the developed prefabricated component assembly technology. (3) Accurate and efficient assembly of prefabricated components is realized by the established positioning and deviation correction control technologies.
