Analysis on Adaptability of Cutter Configuration of Largediameter
Slurry Shield in Sandy Cobble Stratum

Abstract:

Analysis is made on the adaptability of the cutter configuration of the largediameter slurry shield for Beijing Underground Rail Transit Line Project. The status quo of the boring of the largediameter slurry shield in sandy cobble stratum is sumarrized and the wearing of the cutters is measured and analyzed. Cutter configurations suitable for largediameter slurry shields in sandy cobble stratum are proposed and rational continuous boring distance without cutter replacement is recommended. This paper can provide reference for the further construction of this project and similar projects in the future.
