Design of Shield Arriving Shaft in Complex Environment

Abstract:

It is unfeasible to install a conventional shield arriving shaft in complex urban environment. Regarding the arriving of the shield of the bored running tunnel from Huayuanqiao Station to Baishiqiao South Station on No. 6 Line of Beijing Metro, the proposal of "single shaft + mined cross adit" is made. In addition, screw conveyor disassembly option, shield rotation option, parallel shield moving option and shield hoistingout option are described in detail on basis of the control dimensions of  Herrenknecht EPB 6250 EPB shield. This paper can provide reference for similar projects in the future.
