Safety Management and Risk Prevention in Shield Tunneling  under Complex Geological Conditions

Abstract: Safety management and risk prevention exist in the whole course of the construction of shieldbored tunnels under complex geological conditions. The key points of safety management and risk prevention of rivercrossing shieldbored tunnel on line 2 of Wuhan Metro are discussed in term of geological conditions, environment investigation, shield type selection and detailed functional design, construction program determination and optimization, risk control, standardized construction and control and test of key construction points.
