Abstract

Abstract:

Deformation occurs to the cutter head of a shield in Dongguan. In the paper, the causes for the deformation of the cutter head are analyzed, which concludes that the eccentric loading on the cutter head causes the deformation of the cutter head. The deformed cutter head is withdrawn, the cracks on the cutter head is cleaned, the deformation of the cutter head is checked, groove is made on the cutter head and welding is made to repair the cutter head. In the end, the deformed cutter head has been repaired successfully. The paper can provide reference for the cause analysis and treatment of deformation of cutter head in the future.
