Study of Rational Buried Depth and Clear Distance Between Lines of Pillar Type Metro Stations in Hard Rock

Abstract:

The Metro stations in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou are mainly located in sandy loose strata, and are constructed into complex lining structures. The construction cost can be reduced and the construction schedule can be shortened by adopting rational support structure types under different conditions. The status of hard rock of Qingdao Metro Line No. 3 and the plastic zone distribution under different buried depths and distance between lines are studied by finite difference numerical software. Rational buried depths and distance between lines of pillar type Metro stations in hard rock supported by different structure types are proposed by 3D numerical models.
