Abstract

Abstract:

The development of waterproofing technology for sealing gasket of shield tunnel segment joints is introduced. The selection and manufacturing method of waterproofing gasket materials, the functions of elastic rubber, water swelling rubber and composite rubber gasket and their application to tunnels under different conditions, and evaluations on single gasket and dual gaskets are presented. The developing direction of waterproofing gasket is proposed in terms of invalid gasket replacing, design and application.
