Abstract:

A series of guidance system of shield, whose monitoring accuracy can reach ±10 mm, is development so as to control shield attitude. The guidance system is composed of total station, laser target, computer and related data transform and transferring and power supply components. A new kind of shield attitude measuring principle is adopted and the results are testified by other measuring methods. The results show that the abovementioned system is stable and reliable and can guarantee the monitoring accuracy. The system has been successfully applied to many tunnels.
