Abstract

Abstract:

The dredging construction for the immersed tunnel with furrow gravel cushion foundation should be carried out. As a result, new type of dredging methods and equipments, with no disturbance to top of gravel cushion foundation, are developed for immersed tunnel with furrow gravel cushion foundation by analytical calculation, physical model test and numerical simulation considering construction environments and conditions. By adopting the abovementioned methods and equipments, the dredging construction of the rubble furrow and furrow top can be carried out, rapid dredging construction can be realized and construction risk can be reduced.
