Abstract: The metro transfer stations of urban core area are always located in bustling area with large scale and multiple auxiliary buildings. Restricted by the scheme of threestation and twosection, the station design scheme is complex; when the part route scheme is adopted, the scheme design difficulty increases; and the instantaneous centralized passenger flow of the part route will be offset with the passenger flow of arrival, waiting and transfer, which will increase the difficulty of passenger flow organization. Taking the doubleline cross transfer station for example, analysis is made on 4 working conditions in the process of passenger clearing, and the occupied width of side platform in the passenger clearing state is analyzed by static calculation. The research results show that: (1) When considering part route, the static calculated platform width is significantly larger than conventional situation. (2) The passenger flow disorder caused by the passenger flow hedging will further aggravate the pressure on the side platform. It is put forward that widening the platform or adding one side platform, and setting the part route at the area with small passenger flow can help to improve the scheme effect.
