Research and Application of Fast Generation and Transformation of BIMANSYS Model in Immersed Tunnel

Abstract:  By analyzing the framework and model correspondence between the IFC and the APDL command, the corresponding process of the two is analyzed. A rapid transformation method from tunnel engineering parameterized BIM model to ANSYS finite element model is proposed, the software was developed by using C# programming language. The main conclusions are as follows: (1) The generated IFC model can be viewed in BIM Vision. The model can be submitted to the construction and operation party for effective utilization; (2) By modifying the tunnel size parameters to generate the corresponding IFC model and the APDL command flow model, 95% of the modeling time is saved; (3) Designers can further modify the generated APDL command stream to conduct static, modal, and dynamic analysis of tunnel structures. The analysis results can effectively guide engineering design; (4) The integrated parameterized modeling software is userfriendly and can be extended to complex underground engineering applications, improving the efficiency of BIM model generation and ANSYS structural calculation and analysis.
