Abstract: Crossover transfer station between two lines face many challenges such as transfer congestion, the necessity of large investment to construct large underground spaces, difficult transportation organization, and complex pipeline relocation. Therefore, based on previous research results and practice, a series of countermeasures, such as adopting the "one islandtwo sides" platform, increasing the number and location of escalators, expanding the crossover area of the station hall, and optimizing transfer paths, is proposed to separate the boarding and alighting passenger flows, realize oneway circulation of transfer passenger flow, minimize passenger flow intersections, increase buffer zones, and effectively resolve the contradiction between convenient transfer and congestion. A passenger flow simulation is performed to optimize the design and achieve the optimal transfer effect at stations with high passenger flow. In addition, to solve the problems of suppressed underground space and lack of visibility in conventional crossover transfer stations, a composite structure is adopted in the node area to achieve a large span and high floor height and to improve the spatial scale and passenger comfort. Adopting a small burial depth and large space for the node areas can reduce costs while improving the transfer function and spatial effect. The cutandcover topdown method used in the node area below an intersection improves the safety of deep foundation pits, drastically reduces the impact of engineering construction on external environments such as road traffic and municipal pipelines, and reduces the need for temporary structures such as concrete supports. 〖JP+1Thus, these are safe and environmentally friendly measures. Research and practice have shown that the recommended technologies can achieve an optimal effect for twoline crossover transfer stations with large passenger flows.
