Abstract: Special building design, special structure selection and design, and intensive utilization of urban spatial resources are critical in the integrated design of municipal roads, bridges, tunnels, and stations in comprehensive transportation hubs. A case study is conducted on the Huangmugang transportation hub in Shenzhen, China, using engineering analogy, simulation computation, and on-site verification approaches to compare the primary nodes in the integrated design of bridges, tunnels, and stations. The main findings are as follows: (1) The dimensions of the beam, slab, and column in the group column conversion beam scheme are appropriately sized for the integrated structural conversion of stations and bridges, exhibiting effective adaptability to the effects of the indoor building space and addressing the issue of abutment not aligning with the column grid. (2) The integration of tunnels and in-station space positively enriches the indoor space of the station and the partition of the smoke storage compartments. The prestressed suspended wall technology aligns well with the integrated structure of tunnels and stations. (3) The balance of force conversion can be effectively ensured during the construction process using the axial force servo system in the force conversion process between the V-column and the temporary support based on the principles of "batchwise conversion, synchronous loading, continuous monitoring, and strict deformation control". (4) The structure and esthetics of underground buildings have been united.
