Abstract:

 Shiziyang tunnel on the GuangzhouShenzhenHongkong passenger line is constructed using the shield machines, and it is the first tunnel that shield machines go and meet underneath water in a long distance in China. The design of shield machine that can be used under the geological conditions in the lot SDIII is presented, and the technology of meeting of shield machines in the tunnel is also introduced in this paper.
