Abstract

The construction data of doubleshield TBM during construction of Qingdao Metro Line No. 2 in complex hard rocks are controlled and analyzed. The doubleshield TBM shows good adaptability to Qingdao Metro Tunnel. Meanwhile, countermeasures and suggestions are provide for small radius curve tunnel and doubleshield TBM in broken surrounding rocks based on construction practices.
