Abstract:

The management of underground utility tunnel in urban areas should be strengthened so as to guarantee the ordered and scientific construction of underground utility tunnels. The relevant national policies for underground utility tunnel are studied, and problems about planning, pipelines, construction methods, safety and investment and charge of underground utility tunnel are analyzed. Some corresponding recommendations are provided as follows: 1) The design and planning should be strengthened. 2) The intensification effect of underground utility tunnel should be developed, and the pipelines should be laid in tunnel as much as possible. 3) The construction methods should be innovated so as to guarantee the construction safety. 4) The construction and management should be both paid attention to. 5) The social public welfare position of underground utility tunnel should be well known, and the relevant advices and demands should be respected.
