Mechanical Properties of Tunnel Boring Machine Cutterhead Based on Continuously Variable Diameter

摘要: 为解决抽水蓄能电站群和地下洞室群存在断面变径范围大,常规TBM刀盘无法有效应对的问题,开发一种刀盘直径可连续改变的无级变径技术,通过理论计算与有限元分析对刀盘力学性能进行分析校核。结果表明: 应用无级变径技术的刀盘,其最大应力和变形在典型工况下均未超过屈服应力和最大变形条件,具备较好的刀盘整体力学性能,证明无级变径技术不会影响刀盘整体结构强度,可进一步开展工程应用验证研究。

Abstract: There is a large range of crosssection diameter variation in pumped storage power stations and underground caverns, which cannot be effectively dealt with by conventional tunnel boring machine cutterhead. Accordingly, a continuously variable cutterhead diameter technology is developed. The mechanical properties of the cutterhead are analyzed and checked by theoretical calculation and finite element analysis. The results show that the maximum stress and deformation of the cutterhead with continuously variable diameter technology under typical working conditions do not exceed the yield stress and maximum deformation conditions, and has good mechanical properties. It is proved that the continuously variable diameter technology will not affect the overall structural strength of the cutterhead, and further engineering application verification research can be carried out.
