Abstract:

For the sake of safety, at present several emergency parking strips are installed in long highway tunnels, which results in great difficulty for the highquality, highspeed, but lowcost, construction of the long tunnels. Taking the engineering practice of Miaoshan tunnel on Huaixin highway as example, the article presents the option selection of the movable lining shutters for the tunnel portions with emergency parking strips, with the emphasis being placed on the option selection and process of the renovation of the movable lining shutters. By adopting the selected option, the problems encountered in the tunnel construction are successfully solved. The article can provide guidance for similar works in the future.
