Abstract: The influences of different construction orders of Metro tunnel and adjacent high building on each other are simulated and analyzed by means of FLAC3D finite element software, with the construction of Metro tunnel of Fanhu stationLingjiaohu Road station section on No. 3 Line of Wuhan Metro and adjacent buildings as an example. The simulation results of different construction orders are analyzed. Conclusions drawn are as follows: 1) The normal reinforcement of tunnel segments can neither meet the requirements of simultaneous construction of Metro tunnel and high building, nor meet the requirements of “constructing the tunnel before the high building is constructed”. 2) The ground surface settlement is mostly induced by the construction of the foundation pit of the high building. The construction of the tunnel has little influence on the construction parameters of the high building. 3) The construction risks and costs can be reduced by “constructing the high building before the tunnel is constructed”.
