Abstract:

The seismic effect of a 3storey underground Metro station with retaining walls is studied by means of response displacement method. The response behavior of the underground Metro station with retaining walls is analyzed by means of simplified 2D plane model. The main study items and conclusions drawn are as follows: 1) The large bending moment at the corners of the structure is converted from diagonal distribution into distribution on the same side, the value of the bending moment increases, the shear force of the side wall reduces and the axial force of the slab has some increase and decrease; 2) The difference between the loading condition in the case of earthquake and that under the static load is expounded, the bending moment of the support of the side walls of the first underground floor increases significantly, the shear force of the slab reduces and the shear force of the side walls increases significantly; 3) Suggestions, including paying attention to the side wall and the top slab support, paying attention to the reinforcement bar ratio of the side wall and paying more attention to the determination of the antishear crosssection of the side walls, are made for the structural design of the underground Metro stations of the same type under seismic action.
