Abstract:

The mutual influence in the construction of Line 6 and Line 9 of Shenzhen Metro in different situations is simulated by finite elements software, with the 5 parallel overlapping running tunnels located to the west end of Yinhu station as examples. Studies show that: 1) under the influence of the construction of Line 9, the deformation of the crown and floor of the drill & blast tunnel with secondary lining is less than that without secondary lining; 2) when the strength of secondary lining reaches 60% of the design value, the construction of the overpassing tunnel can be carried out; 3) with the construction of the tunnels of Line 6 and Line 9 complying with relevant requirements, the deformation caused by the mutual influences is within the acceptable range, which indicates that the construction of the parallel overlapping tunnel by drill & blast method and shield method is feasible. In the paper, the key technologies on the overlapping tunnels are summarized. It is concluded that the construction of the overlapping tunnels of Line 9 and Line 6 of Shenzhen Metro in the same stage will reduce the risks of the construction of Line 6 in the future.
