Study on Local Route Adjoining to and Location of Shengjinta Station:  a Transfer Station of Nanchang Rail Transit System in Old Urban Area

Abstract:

Shengjinta station, which is a transfer station between Line 3 and Line 4 of Nanchang rail transit system, is located in the toberebuilt old urban area of Nanchang city. The location of Shengjinta station depends on the transfer route and transfer type between Line 3 and Line 4. In the feasibility study stage of the project, 3 transfer route schemes and 3 transfer types between Line 3 and Line 4 are studied. In the paper, the study on the transfer route schemes and transfer types are illustrated, and the advantages and disadvantages of the mentioned transfer route schemes and transfer types are analyzed. Considering the implementation difficulties, engineering coordination workload, cost, number of buildings to be dismantled, etc., the authors recommend that the doublefloor parallel transfer mode should be adopted for Shengjinta station. In this way, the final route of Line 3 and Line 4 and the location of Shengjinta station are determined. The paper can provide reference for similar projects in the future. 
