Abstract:
Part of the Metro stations and tunnel sections on Lintong Line of Xi’an Metro cross dead weight collapsible loess. In this paper, the stressing conditions and probability of environmental change of foundation of Metro projects are analyzed and studied. And then the treating principle of and countermeasures for collapsible loess are proposed. The collapsible probability of Lintong Line of Xi’an Metro is estimated; the collapsible deformation of the loess and structural stress are calculated; the stress deformation and stressstrain characteristics of the structure at different connection points of Metro projects are analyzed. Finally, some countermeasures for collapsible loess of Metro tunnel, mined tunnel and shield tunnel are proposed. The resalts can provide reference for the design and construction of Xi’an Metro and other similar projects.
