Abstract:
In recent years, the Metro tunnel construction in rock strata has become more and more common in China. The TBM construction speed is restricted by method of vertical mucking by gantry crane used in doubleshield TBM tunneling in Qingdao. The effect of vertical mucking by gantry crane used in EPB shield is good and popular. The influence of vertical mucking by gantry crane on construction efficiency of doubleshield TBM is analyzed. The vertical hoisting methods of material in related projects are studied. The differences between gantry crane and vertical belt conveyor are analyzed in terms of technology, economy and construction schedule. The vertical belt conveyor used in doubleshield TBM and open TBM has many advantages, i.e. high transportation capacity, low failure rate and low cost; and it is worth popularizing.
