Abstract:
With the rapid development of urban buildings and metro projects, the situation of buildings adjacent to metro structures is common. As a result, it is very important to estimate the influence of building construction on safety of metro structure. A 2D and 3D numerical model of a construction project in Xiamen adjacent to existing metro structure are established by finite element software MIDAS/GTS. And then the influence of the building construction on internal force and deformation of main metro station structure, subsidiary structure, shieldbored section and mined section are studied. The study results show that the influence of building construction on adjacent metro structure can be controlled effectively.
