Driving Control Technology for Active Articulated Shield Machine in  Moderately Weathered Mudstone in Continuous Small Radius Curve

Abstract:

The Guanggusilu StationGuangguwulu Station section on eastern section of Wuhan Metro Line No.11,bored by shield,is a Sshaped continuous curved section,whose minimum radius reaches 350 m. The difficulties of control of active articulated shield machine are analyzed.The control technologies are carried out for soil stress,thrusting force of jack,stroke difference of jack, horizontal articulation angle and front shield level. As a result,the axial line of the tunnel and dislocation of segments have been controlled within allowance and successful experience has been obtained.
