Abstract:
In order to improve the construction efficiency of shield tunneling and reduce the risk of shield segment layout design errors, a method of prelayout of the shield segment in the form of a staggered fit is proposed for the shield tunnel with the combination of doublesidedwedge standard segment and turning segment. The best assembling posture of the shield segment with least deviation from the target line is found by geometrical iteration method, which solves the tunneling problems of selection of shied segment type and assembling points. The accuracy of the method is verified by taking a shieldbored tunnel section on Nanjing Metro Line 3 for example, which can provide significant guidance for the construction organization and construction error control of shield tunneling.
