Abstract:

The frequently passing trains would induce excessive vibrations to the surrounding environment. Hence, insitu vibration monitoring is carried out for Shangmadun Metro Station and properties above to learn the propagation rules of metro operationinduced vibration. And then, the three directional accelerations are acquired to analyze their timedomain and frequencydomain characteristics and evaluate the influence of vibration on the station. The results show that: (1) The vertical vibration is significantly more obvious than transverse and horizontal ones. (2) The vibration frequency of properties above the station mainly ranges from 25 Hz to 50 Hz. (3) The Level Z vibration of the station is within daytime limit and exceeds night limit, as a result, structural optimization and vibration reduction measures should be adopted to control the vibration.
