Abstract: To realize high-precision and high-efficiency prefabrication of steel-shell-concrete immersed tubes for the Shenzhen-Zhongshan link (hereinafter the Shenzhong link), the cell-type concreting sequence without support is studied. First, the simulation calculation methods for steel-shell-concrete immersed tubes under the combined action of time-varying strength, shrinkage, creep, hydration heat, and deadweight of concrete are investigated. Second, the influence of the temperature field of concrete hydration heat on tube deformation is analyzed. Finally, the influence of cell-type concreting sequence with and without a support system on the deformation of immersed tubes is analyzed and the optimum concreting sequence is chosen. The results show the following: (1) the hydration heat of concrete has a limited influence on the final deformation of tubes; (2) the ceu-type and hopping concreting technology is the optimum considering the pouring efficiency of the intelligent trolley and deformation control; and (3) the support system can be canceled as it has a negligible influence on the deformation of the top plate.
Key words: steel-shell-concrete immersed tube, segmental deformation control, support system, hydration heat, cell-type concreting
