Receiving Technology of Multiple Shields in Oblique Cross Passage under Complex Conditions

Abstract: To solve the problem that the shield cannot be disassembled and hoisted out directly from the receiving shaft, a mined cross passage is built to move the shield to the vertical shaft in conventional solution. In a case study, multiple shields should be received in an oblique and narrow cross passage of #1 ventilation shaft project on New Airport line of Beijing metro. Accordingly, a set of reasonable and rigorous receiving scheme and parameter control standards for multiple shields are designed, and the shield seal failure problem is solved by adopting the embedded steel ring plate segment, shotconcrete filling, circular plates welding, and premixed shotconcrete and material bag. Finally, some thinking is put forward for the design of cross passage and tunnel.
