Abstract: Integration of underground metro lines and municipal bridges interact in long-distance shared routing presents challenges in spatial alignment, structural compatibility, and construction scheduling. The author proposes a design method for coordinated routing, phased construction, and subsequent integration of underground metro lines and municipal bridges. The approach includes a co-construction design for metro columns and municipal bridge pile foundations, as well as the adaptation of metro retaining pile foundations for dual use as municipal bridge pile foundations. This method enables independent construction of metro underground lines and municipal bridges while minimizing interaction, reducing costs, and enhancing construction efficiency. The implementation of this design yields significant social and economic benefits. Effective application of the method requires early-stage coordinated planning of metro and municipal bridge projects.
