Research and Application of Optimal Drilling Efficiency Based on Rock-Drilling Trolley

Abstract: The factors influencing the drilling process of the rock-drilling trolley are analyzed and tested to improve the drilling efficiency of rock-drilling trolley in mountainous tunnels. By studying the influence of propulsion pressure, impact pressure, and rotation speed, the optimal construction parameter combination is obtained. Through multi-parameter testing under different rock conditions, the data of drilling speed and energy consumption are collected, and the data are processed by least square method, coupling, and regression analysis. The results show the following: (1) The propulsion pressure is linearly related to the drilling velocity, and the impact pressure exhibits a quadratic parabolic relationship with the drilling velocity. (2) It is concluded that the upper limit of the reasonable threshold of propulsion pressure is 8 MPa, and the impact pressure is the optimal between 15 and 17 MPa. (3) The rotation speed has little effect on the drilling speed, so it should not be overhigh.
