Abstract: Conventional treatment of shield muck always causes adverse impact to ecological environment. Thus, to improve the resource utilization efficiency of shield muck, metal ion complex ZY-1 is used to strengthen the hydration reaction during the solidification process of shield muck. Through potential testing, the influence of ZY-1 on ζ potential across various particle surfaces is analyzed, and empirical parameter equations are provided. During the test, pure water is used and 1 mL of KCI electrolyte with a concentration of 0.01 mmol/L is added to make a test sample suspension to ensure a single variable environment. ZY-1 concentrations are set at 0, 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100 mmol/L, respectively. The results show the following: (1) Metal ion complex effectively reduces ζ potential on various particle surfaces, diminishing the outer electric layer thickness, narrowing particle spacing, and enhancing consolidation. (2) ZY-1 shows the most significant reduction in ζ potential on cement particle surfaces; at a concentration increase from 0 to 100 mmol/L, cement particle ζ potential decreases by 61.61%. (3) The sequence of metal ion complex impact on ζ potential across different particle surfaces is as follows: cement > shield muck > calcium carbonate > calcium sulfate.
