Abstract:

Slurry treatment is one of the most fundamental aspects of tunnel construction by means of slurry shield machine. In the early stage of the construction, even in the bidding stage, therefore, it is of great improtance to determine the process data of the slurry treatment system on basis of the geological parameters, through which the cost to be incurred during the construction will be estimated. On basis of the experience related to the slurry treatment facilities and geological conditions of Wuhan Yangtze River crossing tunnel, the paper discusses on the process data calculation method of the slurry treatment system in shield tunnel construction.
