Fullface Advance Grouting for Water Sealing and Reinforcement of Karst Section of Xiangshan Tunnel

Abstract:

The engineering geology and hydrogeology of the karst section of Xiangshan tunnel on LongyanXiamen railway is presented. The fullface advance grouting technology for karst area, including grouting parameters, grouting materials, grouting procedure, grouting technique, grouting equipment and grouting effect assessment, are described, with the grouting in YDK24+114~+144 section of Xiangshan tunnel as an example. This paper can provide reference for similar projects in the future.
