Abstract:
Numerical simulation and monitoring are made for the extralarge "∞"shaped deep foundation pit of the south anchorage of Nanjing Fourth Yangtze River Bridge in aspect of deep horizontal lateral deformation and stress distribution of the diaphragm walls. The numerical simulation results are compared to the monitoring results, which results in the deformation rules and stress distribution rules of the diaphragm walls. The simulation results agree well with the monitoring results, which confirms the guidance of numerical simulations to project construction.
