Construction Technology for Tunnel Invert in Swelling Soil

Abstract:

The invert in the swelling soil section of Tuanshanzi tunnel on the northeast ring railway of Shenyang railway terminal is subject to heaving. The analysis on the stress of the invert, the effect of bolting to control the heaving of the floor in swelling soil and the techniques and design for the construction of the invert are presented. Proposal is made on the construction of the invert of tunnels in swelling soil. This paper can provide reference for similar projects in the future.
