Abstract:

 At present, the shotcrete mixtures at most sites are fed to the shotcreting machines by hand. This shotcreting method has such disadvantages as high labor intensity, long construction duration, low construction efficiency and high construction cost, and constrains the tight connection of the construction processes. The manufacture of a mobile shotcreting platform and its application in the construction of Qinling extralong tunnel are presented in this paper. The mentioned mobile shotcreting platform has such advantages as simplicity in manufacturing, rationality in design and convenience in application, which results in rapid moving, reduced labor intensity, shortened shotcreting time and improved construction efficiency.  The paper can provide reference for similar works in the future.
