Abstract:
The influence of gas on shield tunneling is analyzed on basis of the situation of FanHan running tunnel on line 2 of Wuhan Metro, which passes through gascontaining stratum. The shield tunneling parameters in gascontaining stratum are adjusted, even though there are no quantitative parameters for shield boring of Metro tunnels in the relevant China’s national specifications. The focus is placed on the control of the muck conveying of the screw conveyor, the tail skin sealing and the quality of the simultaneous grouting and secondary grouting. As a result, a series of technology for shield tunneling in gascontaining stratum is summarized.
