Abstract:
Planted piling is a low noise and low vibration piling method, which is currently widely used in Taiwan. This technology has many advantages, including high bearing capacity, quick construction speed, easy controlling of construction quality and no second environmental damage. This paper introduces two construction methods of prebored planted piles and compares the benefits of the two construction methods by using such evaluating factors as the recovery rate of coring, the uniaxial compression strength, the ultimate bearing capacity of pile and the construction speed. The comparison results show that the traditional construction method of prebored planted pile is better for its rapid construction speed and economic efficiency.
