Abstract:

The geological hazards that may occur during the construction of Houyuntaishan tunnel in Lianyungang are addressed in the paper. Proper and efficient advance geology forecast methods are adopted on basis of the actual engineering conditions so as to predict the complex geological conditions and analyze the stability of the surrounding rock mass in advance. Proper advance geology forecast execution plan is established for the tunnel, which can give full play to the adopted advance geology forecast methods, predict and evaluate the grades of the surrounding rock mass and provide strong guarantees for the stability of the surrounding rock mass and for the safety of the tunnel construction. The practice demonstrates that the comprehensive advance geology forecast methods adopted have achieved 80% accuracy.
