Abstract: The production capacity, production process, function area arrangement, equipment, drainage system, waterproofing system, ventilation system, emergency lighting system, as well as routine maintenance of the invert segment precasting plant of West Qinling railway tunnel are presented. The foundation of the invert segment precasting plant, which is of steel structure and is built on muckfilled site, is presented with emphasis. The height of the invert segment precasting plant, which can meet the requirements of formwork removing and segment turning in air by means of hydraulic turning machines,is described in detail.The practice shows that the resources can be effectively used and rapid and continuous production can be guaranteed if the invert segment precasting plant has rational arrangement, complete functions and good supporting systems.
