Abstract: Based on briefing rock aquifer of advance detection technology and its application research in the course of the tunnel and roadway excavation, we analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the transient electromagnetic method and direct current method for advance detection of rock water situation, focuse on the principles of three-dimensionl electrical technology for advanced detection and three-dimension resistivity tomography, illustrate with an example to show the process of data collection, data processing, data interpretation and results analysis, which reveals the characteristics of little interference by the surrounding environment, long advance detection, forming any vertical and horizontal slices and stereoscopic display of rock water. We have come to the conclusion that the technology has a strong practicality, effectiveness and popularization.
