Study on Relationship between Increased Resistance of Selfdrive Excavating Machine and Launchingout Area of Resistant Block

Abstract: The selfdrive tunnel excavating machine is a newlydeveloped trenchless technology equipment, which overcomes the shortcomings of shield machines and pipe jacking method, such as limiting of long distance boring and inflexible sharp turn. In order to provide parameter support for designing and manufacturing industrial prototype of selfdrive excavating machine, a miniprototype is designed and manufactured and model test and field test are carried out. The relationship between increased resistance of excavating machine and launchingout area of resistant block approximates positive correlation.
