Abstract:
Humaling tunnel on LanzhouChongqing railway passes through Tertiary waterrich weak sandstone. Serious deformation occurs during the construction of the tunnel. Creeping test is made on the soil samples and the characteristics of the weak sandstone are obtained, the creeping characteristics of soils with different water content rates are analyzed, the relationship between the deformation and the deformationlasting time of soils with different water content rates is discussed, and corresponding tunnel design principle and tunnel construction methods are proposed.
