Abstract:

The development and utilization of undeground space in Huaqiang North Commericial Area are presented on basis of the planning, design and construction of Line 7 of Shenzhen Metro. Due to the development of the underground space, the land utilization efficiency has been improved, harmonious coordination among the Metro works, the surrounding environment, the passenger flow, the vehicle flow and the logistics has been achieved, and the function and integral efficiency of the city have been greatly enhanced. For the sake of the green construction measures taken, the adverse influence on the commercial area has been minimized.
