Design and Application of Online Monitoring System and Assessment on Safety of Ground Surface Buildings (Structures) in Metro Construction

Abstract:

The construction of Metro tunnels crossing underneath existing surface buildings (structures) inevitably causes adverse effect on the surface buildings (structures). The influence of the construction of Metro tunnels crossing underneath surface buildings (structures) has been minimized by choosing proper construction technologies and proper construction parameters on basis of monitoring data collected from the online monitoring system and the cloud service alarming system. The monitoring data show that the online monitoring system can accurately reflect the rules of the influence of the construction of Metro tunnels on the surface buildings (structures) and the safety of the surface buildings (structures) can be guaranteed.
